ink project 2005: filling the hollow

Okay, here's the first ink project for the year of 2005.

It's either this or a trip somewhere but I have yet to get any confirmation from a friend regarding of her availability to be back in town for CNY... Why waste money saved eh? *chuckles n sighs*

credits to Brandon Boyd of Incubus for a great stylised religious tattoo. 2nd one from him that I'm gonna put on my body ^^

read this for a better understanding: http://www.dharma-haven.org/tibetan/meaning-of-om-mani-padme-hung.htm

Interesting. But put on your arm not so nice leh.

I have a Buddhist Sanskrit symbol in mind too (that is the protector for those born in the year of the horse) which I want to put near my heart, but it clashes with the zip that I want over my heart (reference: my old drawing if you remember). Also I don't really know how to draw an abstract looking zip cos I don't want an aunty-looking zip, and if I didn't have boobies maybe it'd be a lot easier. So that's that for now.

(I'm not a Buddhist either).

okay... not my arm... well.. nape of my neck how? above the mid part of the shoulders, or even smack dab on the back of my neck? a bit too brave if it peeks outta my collar tho... i'm supposed to be a broker-wannabe.. haha.. imagine a hevily pierced and tattoed broker... woot. am i to be the first? ^^

ur a horsey too? hrm.. come to think of it, i seem to know a lot of horsies and piggie girls... i wonder why?

oh do it sam... ink on girls are hawt! ^^

i could/would draw the zipper for u.. but my freehand looks like shit... well unless its charcoal n chalk, haha.. i'm too abstract :P

Is that the actual size? Then it might be too big for back of neck. Go further down to centre of shoulders will look good I think. What else do you have on your back?

Eh, why do you want to be a yuppie???
*shoots look of disgust*

Charcoal is fine. Machine drawings suck anyway. But it clashes la, unless the zip looks oriental. Hah. I'll email you the symbol.
